The Canton Foundation has launched a new web-based calendar for planning Super Validator operations across the Global Synchronizer.
The Foundation’s forum announcement says the calendar replaces the previous Google Doc table and will serve as the main planning reference for Super Validator upgrades and related network activity.
The new calendar includes month, week and day views. Users can filter events by network and event type, review dependencies between activities and share filtered calendar links with other teams.
It also introduces a more regular planning rhythm. Upgrade windows, protocol changes and other large-scale events can be planned around predefined dates each month. If a release is not ready, the relevant activity can be cancelled before the scheduled window.
Dates can first appear as to-be-confirmed items and later move into the confirmed schedule as planning progresses. This gives Super Validators, application teams and infrastructure providers a shared view of upcoming operational work.
The calendar is designed to make coordination easier as Canton’s environments, protocol releases and governance processes continue to expand. It brings the practical details of network operations into one place and gives participants a clearer way to plan around upgrades.
