MahaWallet’s announced service fees and K2F’s proposed audit funding, alongside new Meritz strategy detail and shorter app updates.
MahaWallet has introduced transfer charges, K2F Labs has added an audit request to its proposed deposit-handling service, and a new Meritz Securities interview explores where tokenization could fit the Korean broker’s business. Smaller updates cover language access, cLTC venue discussions and a social app feature.
This edition covers developments since the previous roundup was published on October 25 at 14:53 UTC, checked through October 26, 2026 at 05:25 UTC. It also brings forward three uncovered October 24 announcements from MahaWallet, Cantex and The Hub.
MahaWallet sets its transfer fees
MahaWallet said on October 24 that its soft launch had ended and its new fee schedule was live. Transfers to another MahaWallet user cost 2 CC, while transfers to another validator cost 3 CC. Moving funds between tipping and on-chain balances is free in both directions.
The announcement applies to CC, CETH, CBTC and USDCx transfers. These are MahaWallet’s service charges, rather than a change to Canton’s network-wide fee rules.

K2F adds an audit to its Deposit Gateway request
Exchanges and custodians use customer reference codes, called deposit memos, to match funds to accounts. Missing codes can leave payments waiting for manual checks.
K2F’s proposed Deposit Gateway would automate those checks. Receivers would run the open-source service beside their validator, using existing authority to accept, hold, reject or return deposits.
The October 25 amendment seeks up to 250,000 CC for an independent audit, on top of 1.75 million CC for engineering and adoption. A conditional 200,000 CC early-delivery bonus brings the maximum to 2.2 million CC.
Engineering and audit work would be due within seven months of approval, with adoption assessed separately. Adoption payments would require accepted software, a published audit report and verified fixes for all Critical and High findings. The request is open and unapproved.
Meritz examines ship-finance tokenization
Meritz Securities is examining tokenized ship financing, according to a News2day interview published on October 26. The interview took place on October 19. Its strategy executive described shipping as a possible starting point, with potential later financing for AI data centres, GPUs and other industries.
The firm already has a Canton agreement to explore tokenizing Korean financial assets, alongside separate relationships with Ripple and Optimism. Its strategy executive described the initial years as a period of infrastructure investment. Shipping remains an exploratory idea; the interview does not identify a network for it.
Unhedged adds Vietnamese
Unhedged’s prediction-market platform has announced Vietnamese support across every page and market. The team says it is one of seven supported languages, with the language selector at the bottom of each page.
Two shorter ecosystem updates
Cantex supports cLTC’s application. Cantex has backed Greywick’s Featured Asset request and says the teams have been discussing bringing Litecoin-backed cLTC to its venue. Greywick is targeting launch around November 1, while its reward-status application remains pending. Cantex’s message adds venue support, without confirming a listing or live trading.
The Hub adds “daily checks”. The Canton SocialFi project said on October 24 that the feature was live.
On the calendar
The coauthors of Universal Burn and Synchronizer Pricing are scheduled to discuss the proposal in an official X Space on October 26 at 18:00 UTC.
For node operators, the official operations schedule marks the October 26 MainNet 0.9.1 and TestNet 0.9.2 entries as cancelled. DevNet 0.9.4 remains confirmed without an exact time. That listing is a schedule, not confirmation that an upgrade has completed.
