LetsExchange closes its swap service after earlier Console Wallet integration

LetsExchange stopped accepting exchanges on October 1. Earlier transactions will still be processed, and support is due to remain available through November 30.

LetsExchange has ceased operations, ending a swap service previously integrated into Canton’s Console Wallet. New exchanges stopped on October 1 at 07:00 UTC.

Exchanges created before that cutoff will continue to be processed. The closure guidance gives users until November 30 to contact support, with the support service due to end on December 1. Incomplete or unresolved exchanges will be handled individually.

Affiliate partners have a separate deadline. They need a valid payout address in place by October 5, when remaining balances are due to be paid automatically. Accounts without a valid address will not receive that payout.

The closure follows more than five years of operation. The statement cites the growing complexity of regulatory requirements and the cost of sustaining a global service as reasons for the decision.

Its Canton connection came through Console Wallet’s LetsExchange integration, which added swaps inside the wallet. The shutdown concerns LetsExchange’s service; it is not an announcement that Console Wallet itself has closed. The notice does not describe replacement routing arrangements for Console users.

LetsExchange also plans to retain its domain for ten years to reduce impersonation risks. Users with outstanding exchanges should use the official service’s support channels while they remain available.
