London Stock Exchange Group’s approved Canton Super Validator program has reached a separate on-chain implementation vote on MainNet. MPC-Holding-Inc submitted the request on October 2 to add LSEG’s hosted reward weight.
The proposal would raise MPCH’s reward weight to 55. Its calculation assumes a separate Marex vote first raises that weight from 35 to 45, then adds LSEG’s weight of 10. The network still recorded MPCH at 35 when checked on October 4.
The LSEG request had one vote in favour and none against at that check. Voting closes on October 9 at 15:43 UTC, with October 10 at 15:44 UTC listed as the target effective time. The outcome remains open.
CIP-0124 was approved on September 22. The new vote implements its hosted arrangement; it is not another decision on the original program or confirmation that LSEG operates its own Super Validator.
The approved plan allows LSEG to earn reward weight of up to 10 against verified milestones. Representative-node rewards initially go to the unclaimed rewards pool. Releases require evidence of completed work, committee review and approval from two-thirds of Super Validator operators.
