T-RIZE Group Corporation has joined the Canton Foundation's Collateral Subcommittee, chaired by DTCC, contributing to the industry work on collateral mobility and tokenised repo and financing across Canton Network.
The subcommittee is responsible for the standards, policies, and operating frameworks underpinning collateral mobility on Canton. Its participants include DTCC, ISDA, BNY, Euroclear, and Broadridge, alongside other global banks, market infrastructures, and industry bodies. T-RIZE will contribute to two workstreams: Cross-Application Collateral Mobility and Tokenised Repo and Financing, bringing a North American capital markets perspective to the group.
The subcommittee's work addresses what comes after tokenisation. Tokenised repo already operates on Canton Network at institutional scale, with trillions of dollars in monthly transaction volume. As more financial assets move on-chain, the industry's focus is shifting toward how tokenised assets can be recognised, mobilised, and used as collateral consistently across applications, institutions, and markets. Common standards and operating frameworks are central to making that possible.
T-RIZE operates tokenisation infrastructure in production on Canton Network and develops technology connecting tokenised assets with institutional custody, settlement, financing, and collateral workflows. As a Canadian financial technology company with practical operating experience on Canton, its participation is intended to bring infrastructure-level perspective to standards work that has until now been led primarily by large global banks and market infrastructure providers.
"Collateral is where tokenisation becomes capital markets infrastructure," said Madani Boukalba, Founder and CEO of T-RIZE. "Issuing an asset onchain is only the first step. The next is enabling that asset to move across financing, repo and collateral workflows with standards institutions can rely on."
