Temple has released a new version of its Lightspeed matching engine, introducing a major infrastructure upgrade designed to expand trading capacity across Temple and the Canton Network.
With Lightspeed 2.0, the platform can now process more than 85 million orders per day, settle up to 29 times more trades per second, and match orders in as little as 3.6 milliseconds.
The upgrade significantly increases the platform's capacity and bandwidth, giving Temple the infrastructure to support greater trading activity as it expands its offering.
Temple plans to use the additional capacity to onboard more assets, liquidity, and trading accounts throughout Q4, further expanding its trading infrastructure on Canton.
