Tradecraft and C8 Wallet + RFQ DEX have received delivery-versus-payment recognition from Canton’s Tokenomics group, following recommendations from the Featured App Accountability Committee.
For C8, the October 2 decision covers only its wallet and request-for-quote exchange. Concordia is explicitly excluded from the recognition.
Delivery versus payment, or DvP, means the asset being delivered and the payment settle together. One side of a qualifying trade cannot complete independently of the other.
The recognition determines how qualifying on-ledger asset activity can count toward Canton rewards. The Featured App Coupon Guidance gives designated DvP venues a separate calculation for eligible asset usage. The asset must genuinely be used, the activity must generate on-chain fees and the record must be verifiable. Reward weight is not a fixed earnings amount.
Tradecraft applied for DvP recognition on September 22 after updating its trade-settlement process. The new decision moves that request to approved treatment under the reward guidance.
