Canton Coin is now available natively through the Ledger Wallet app, marking the first time individuals can hold Canton Coin in self-custody on a hardware wallet.
The integration brings Canton Coin directly to Ledger, one of the most widely used hardware wallet providers in the industry. Users can now send, receive, and hold Canton Coin through the Ledger Live interface.
With more than seven million devices sold across 200+ countries, Ledger has become one of the leading names in self-custody. Its hardware wallets keep private keys isolated from internet-connected systems, giving users a secure way to manage their assets.
For Canton Coin, the integration adds another layer of accessibility as Canton Network continues to expand. Until now, access to CC has largely been concentrated among institutional participants, validators, and ecosystem users. Ledger gives individual holders a native self-custody option directly through one of the industry's most established hardware wallet platforms.
The integration also comes from a company already deeply involved with Canton Network, with Ledger operating as a Super Validator and contributing to the network's security and resilience.
