HackCanton Season 3 has reached 85 teams and 44 projects, with six projects submitted for judging in AppsFactory’s October 2 update.
The competition has also recorded 67 build diaries. These let teams document their progress as they develop applications on Canton, with the latest update highlighting work on secure data recovery, derivatives and trade finance.
Fourteen projects have uploaded materials, but an upload does not complete an entry. Teams still need to submit their projects for judging. The number of completed submissions rose from four to six between October 1 and October 2.
The earlier September 26 registration update recorded 353 registrations representing around 450 builders from 48 countries. Of those registrations, 82% were new to HackCanton, 59% arrived alone looking for a team and 68% registered without a fixed idea.
A separate 10,000 CC Grofty bounty is open across the Season 3 tracks. It rewards a working wallet and onboarding experience on Canton MainNet, with 5,000 CC for first place, 3,000 CC for second and 2,000 CC for third.
The Season 3 schedule sets October 9 for submissions, followed by judging from October 10 to 18. Finalists will be announced on October 19, ahead of the Grand Final on October 21. Teams can review the entry requirements on the competition page.
