Zenith brought banks, securities firms and other financial institutions together at Seoul Table, an institutional lunch held during Korea Blockchain Week. The Canton infrastructure team co-hosted the gathering with Kaiko, Utila and Happyblock.

Participants included Woori Bank, Mirae Asset Securities, Kyobo Life Insurance, Kyobo Securities, Meritz Securities, LS Securities and iM Bank. Shin & Kim, Deloitte Korea and Bithumb were also among those in attendance.

The discussions covered tokenization, digital assets and the blockchain infrastructure needed to use them at scale in regulated markets. Asset managers, custodians, legal advisers and infrastructure providers joined the conversation alongside the banks and securities firms.

For Zenith, the gathering sits alongside its development work on Canton. The team operates as a Canton Super Validator and is building an environment for Ethereum applications to work with Canton’s financial infrastructure. That gives developers a route to use familiar Ethereum tools while building for the network.

Seoul Table focused on discussion among institutions and technology teams. The event recap does not announce signed partnerships or new commercial deployments with the organisations in attendance.
