CanTra has applied for Featured App status on Canton, with a digital security linked to Francis Bacon’s Three Studies for Portrait of George Dyer (1963) as its first planned offering.

The minimum investment is €100. Access is intended for eligible retail, professional and qualified investors, with identity checks and an eligibility assessment required before they can invest. The offering’s terms determine who can participate.

CanTra operates as a tied agent of Black Manta Capital Partners, acting on behalf of and under the liability of the BaFin-regulated investment firm. It is the investor-facing part of the ARTEX ecosystem, which also covers asset origination, securities issuance and secondary-market infrastructure.

Canton is intended to handle investor wallets, subscriptions, securities allocations, transfers and settlement. Investor holdings would remain private while authorised parties retain access for oversight. Future plans include allowing investors to purchase digital securities with Canton Coin.

The Francis Bacon offering page lists October 8 as a tentative closing date. The Featured App application schedules the creation and transfer of the digital securities for October 29, after the offering closes. Those dates remain plans rather than confirmation that issuance has completed.

Further offerings are planned across collectibles, music rights, film and entertainment, real estate and sports-related assets. CanTra’s application sets out a launch on Canton regardless of the Featured App decision, with network rewards intended to help cover investor onboarding and settlement costs.

C7 and 7RIDGE have supported the request. Featured App approval has not been confirmed.
