Lattice has added support for cETH, giving finance teams a way to manage wrapped ETH alongside the other Canton assets they handle. The September 9 update covers tracking, approvals and reconciliation, the process of matching transactions with financial records.

cETH represents ETH on Canton at a one-to-one ratio. Each token corresponds to ETH held in protocol-controlled smart contracts on Ethereum, with a process for converting cETH back into ETH. The cETH website also provides information on checking the underlying holdings and token supply.

Lattice’s platform brings wallet balances, asset movements, spending approvals and reporting into one place for institutions using Canton. Its finance tools are built to help teams see which funds moved, who approved them and how that activity should appear in their records.

Lattice is currently working with selected institutions through its enterprise beta, with access available by request.
