FOMO Pay has received validator approval on Canton as the company expands the blockchain infrastructure supporting its institutional payment services.
Through its validator role, FOMO Pay will operate a dedicated node on Canton. The company intends to use the network for institutional business-to-business payments and settlement, adding Canton to its existing multi-chain payment infrastructure.
Canton allows authorised counterparties to transact and share relevant information while keeping those details confidential from other network participants. This is designed to support financial activity that requires both connectivity and controlled access to transaction data.
FOMO Pay’s existing infrastructure supports enterprise payment flows across traditional banking rails and major blockchain networks. The company serves clients across Southeast Asia, the Greater Bay Area, and the Middle East and North Africa.
The company said its validator role will allow it to connect its payment infrastructure with institutional digital asset and settlement systems. It also plans to continue expanding the payment rails, blockchain networks and corridors available through its platform.
