Global Settlement Network has joined Canton Network as a validator and Featured Application, deploying its GSX ID credentialing platform to support institutional compliance workflows across tokenized capital markets.
GSX ID is designed to reduce repeated verification checks between counterparties, applications, and jurisdictions. The platform allows participants to issue and carry verifiable on-chain credentials covering KYC and AML checks, KYB onboarding, bad-actor screening, and investor-qualification requirements.
The credentialing system is intended to let institutions complete verification once and have that compliance status recognized across Canton-based applications. For regulated market participants, that could reduce duplicated onboarding processes while preserving the auditability and controls required in financial markets.
GSN’s validator approval also gives the company a role in Canton’s infrastructure layer. Canton has positioned itself as a public blockchain for regulated finance, with privacy, compliance, and interoperability as core requirements for banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, and other institutional users.
The deployment is supported by a broader group of partners focused on distribution, tokenization, and risk assessment. Texture Capital is expected to support broker-dealer distribution and investor verification in the United States, while Black Manta Capital Partners will extend access into European and cross-border tokenization markets.
Particula is integrating independent risk ratings into the GSX ID workflow, giving participants a way to assess opportunities within the same system used for identity and compliance. The announcement also named Archax, Lattice, and Infrasingularity among ecosystem participants connected to the broader framework.
The integration reflects a growing focus on the operational infrastructure around tokenized assets, not only the issuance and settlement of the assets themselves. As institutional digital asset markets develop, compliance credentials, investor verification, distribution access, and risk data are becoming central parts of the market structure.
For Canton, GSX ID adds another compliance-oriented layer to its institutional ecosystem. For GSN, the deployment places its credentialing platform inside a network increasingly focused on regulated financial applications and tokenized capital markets.
