Hacken and NODERS have scheduled a free, live workshop on reviewing Daml smart contracts with AI for September 29. The virtual session runs from 14:00 to 15:00 UTC and is open for registration.
The team will run Hacken's AI Auditor on a real smart contract for Canton Network. Hacken announced the workshop on September 22 as part of HackCanton Season 3, the builder programme run through AppsFactory.
The session will explain what reviewers need to check in Daml, the language used for Canton smart contracts, and how this differs from Solidity. Topics include who can authorize an action, how contracts begin and end, and how related contracts affect each other.
The live demonstration will show how the AI Auditor builds an understanding of a codebase and divides it into sections for review. Attendees will follow the process of examining potential issues, checking the supporting evidence and deciding what needs to be fixed.
The workshop is aimed at founders and engineers building on Canton who want to assess where AI-assisted review fits into their security work. A live question-and-answer session will cover how applications are designed.
