Slay Money plans to distribute 6,000 Canton Coin among 20 early users during the week of September 21, ahead of a new weekly rewards program.
The early-user distribution will go directly into recipients' Slay accounts. It recognises people who used the app before a rewards program was attached to it.
The weekly program will then reward activity inside Slay. Holding or sending CC, trading and taking part in prediction markets are among the activities listed in the September 21 announcement. Activity starts counting this week, with the first weekly distribution planned for the following week.
Users will not need to complete a separate registration form. The program will look at their activity within the app.
Slay Money brings a Canton wallet, trading and prediction markets into one app. Its wallet supports sending and receiving CC using a handle, address or QR code. The app is available on Android, through TestFlight on iOS and as a Chrome extension.
The announcement sets out the 6,000 CC allocation for early users, while the weekly program's pool size and individual payout amounts are still to be detailed.
